In this task, I chose one of the environment flats I created and made it my Final 2D Design. I will use this plan to create a 3D model version of it in the following task.
This is the left side of my final 2D design. What you can see is a wall of a mine which is being supported by wooden beams. There is also ores in the wall and a vein of ore which has already been mined. There is a torch on the wall which is emitting light for the mine. Along the bottom there is a minecart which is used to transport tools/mined resources from the mine to the surface.
This image shows the right side to my 2D design. You can see a doorway, made out of wooden beams, which is leading to the surface of the planet. On the surface of the planet, you can see sand on the ground, sand dunes in the distance, an excavator and planets in the sky.
This is the base to my 2D design. It has a curved mine track leading from one side to the other.
